		2007 Buckeye Classic 10K Don't miss the 9th race of the 2007 Columbus Grand Prix Series in the Buckeye Classic 10K. This is a Club Run Wild event put on by Run Wild Racing, so come out and have some fun and support the Columbus running community. This is one of the most scenic courses and challenging course in the series, so come out and take on this epic journey. This is a great event, with awesome awards, cool technical shirts and lots of food and drinks afterwards. NOTE: The COURSE has moved from Griggs Reservoir to Alum Creek Below Dam Area in Lewis Center. Distance: 10K (6.21 miles) Date & Time: Sunday, September 02, 2007 @ 8:00 A.M. Location: Alum Creek Below Dam Area - Lewis Center Road & Africa Road - Lewis Center, Ohio 43035 Awards: The top three males / females will receive special awards along with the top three in each designated category. There will also be many random prizes drawn at this event. Race Divisions: Awards are based on following categories: 11 - 14, 15 - 19, 20 -24, 25 - 29, 30 - 34, 35 - 39, 40 - 44, 45 - 49, 50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 - 64, 65 - 69, 70+, Cruiser's (Men over 200lbs / Women over 150lbs), Walkers (MUST walk the entire event) Entry Fees: $25 until Aug 20th, $30 after Aug 20th & $35 on race day Packet Pickup: FrontRunner 1344 W. NO ENTRY after 7:45 A.M. AMB Chip Pick-Up: AMB Chip pickup is on race day from 7:00 A.M. - 7:45 A.M. You must wear a chip in order to be timed and receive results after the event. *Lost or non-returned chips will result in a $95.00 charge. 	Course Information: This is challenging loop course that starts and finishes at the Alum Creek below Dam area located off Lewis Center Road. The course has a couple hills and some excellent scenery as you run over the dam. The Steps are incorportated into the course, so be prepared to push the limits. Directions: Take I-270 E to 71 North, exit Polaris Parkway and turn right going east to Africa Road. Left on Africa Road to Lewis Center Road. Make a left onto Lewis Center Road and right into the Below Dam Parking area.
