		Holiday Run @ Sharon Woods Come out and run the 2007 Holiday Run at Sharon Woods and shed those Turkey Day pounds. Sharon Woods Metro Park is one of the nice places to run and walk with scenery that is awesome. The course is runner and walker friendly along with having a few challenging hills for that extra burn. Come be social, get in some exercise and celebrate the wonderful holiday season with us. Don't forget that there is lots of Hot Chocolate w/marshmellows and holiday cookies! NOTE: There will be NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION, so be sure to register early and before the event. No race day registration allowed in the Metro Parks. Distance: 4 miles (6.43K) Date & Time: Sunday, December 09, 2007 @ 9:00 A.M. Location: 6911 Cleveland Ave. - Westerville, Ohio 43081 Awards: The top 250 runners and the top 20 race walkers receive special prize as you come across the finish line. Also, there will be an award for the top male and female with the best Holiday costume that reflects the "Holiday Spirit". Race Divisions: Results will be based on following categories: 11 & Under, 11 - 14, 15 - 19, 20 -24, 25 - 29, 30 - 34, 35 - 39, 40 - 44, 45 - 49, 50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 - 64, 65 - 69, 70+, Cruiser's (Males 200lbs+ / Females 150+) and Walkers (MUST walk the entire event) Entry Fees: $20 until November 15th, $25 after November 15th & NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION Packet Pickup: FrontRunner 1344 W. Lane Ave. 614-486-0301 at the following times: Monday 12/03 - Saturday 12/08 Packet Pickup Hours are Monday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. AMB Chip Pick-Up: AMB Chip pickup is on race day from 7:00 A.M. - 8:45 A.M. You must wear a chip in order to be timed and receive results after the event. Lost or non-returned chips will result in a $95.00 charge. Race Packets: Each participate will receive an awesome long sleeve technical shirt with race logo, goodie bag and other sponsor information. Certification Information: Course is not USATF certified




	Course Information: This is a wonderful loop course around the scenic Sharon Woods Metro Park. The start will be on the road in the Apple Ridge Picnic Area proceeding south to the main park road where the participants will make a sharp left and then another sharp left to access the trail heading northeast. Follow the trail all the way around until the Maple Grove Picnic area where you make a left off the trail to the finish line. Directions: From I-270, take the Cleveland Avenue North exit. Entrance is about 1/2 mile on the left. Start of the race will be in the Apple Ridge Picnic Area.
