		Run Happy 10K Welcome to the kick-off event for the 2008 Columbus Grand Prix series presented by Toyota! Hey Mon! Get your running shoes on and come join us for the 1st event in the 2008 Columbus Grand Prix series and one that will allow you to test your speed as this is a very flat and fast out & back USATF certified course. Don't miss this Jamin event! Distance: 10K (6.35 miles) Date & Time: Saturday, March 29, 2008 @ 9:00 A.M. Location: Fouse Elementary School 5800 S. Old 3C Highway - Westerville, Ohio 43082 Awards: Awards will be given to the top three males and females overall as well as the top three in each category. Random prizes to be given out as well, BUT you must be present to win… Race Divisions: Awards are based on following categories: 11 - 14, 15 - 19, 20 -24, 25 - 29, 30 - 34, 35 - 39, 40 - 44, 45 - 49, 50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 - 64, 65 - 69, 70+, Cruiser's (Men over 200lbs / Women over 150lbs), Walkers (MUST walk the entire event) Entry Fees: $27 until March 9th, $30 after March 9th and $40 on race day Packet Pickup: FrontRunner 1344 W. Lane Ave. 614-486-0301 at the following times: Wednesday 03/26 - Friday 03/28 Packet Pickup Hours are Monday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup: From 7:00 A.M. to 8:45 A.M. . NO ENTRY after 8:45 A.M. AMB Chip Pick-Up: AMB Chip pickup is on race day from 7:00 A.M. - 8:45 A.M. You must wear a chip in order to be timed and receive results after the event. *Lost or non-returned chips will result in a $100.00 charge. Race Packets: Each participant will receive their goodie bag, which will contain your Bib #, high tech short sleeve race shirt along with other event sponsor information. 	Course Information: This out & back USATF certified course starts and finishes in the parking lot entrance of Fouse Elementary School. All participants head west on Freeman Road to the bikepath trailhead. Turn right heading north on the trail to the turn around and then proceed back the same route. This is really flat course and will be well marked with mile markers, directional signs and three aid stations. Directions: From I-270, take I 71 North to Polaris Parkway. Turn right heading east on Polaris Parkway to 3C Highway, which is also referred too as State Street or Westerville Road. Turn left heading north on 3C Highway to Freeman Road. Right on Freeman Road to Old 3C Highway. Right on Old 3C Highway and take an immediate right into the Fouse Elementary School parking area.
