		Dash for Donation - Half WHAT: Dash for Donation featuring a 1/2 marathon run, a 5K run/walk, a 1K fun walk and a kids and mascots dash (a short run for children 6 & under.) This Half Marathon features a scenic two loop 1/2 marathon course that is spectator friendly. WHY: To promote organ and tissue donation and transplantation and to encourage Ohioans to join the Ohio Donor Registry and give the "Gift of Life." By showcasing the involvement of those touched by donation and transplantation we aim to provide hope to the over 106,000 Americans and over 3,000 Ohioans currently waiting for a life-saving transplant. Who: Lifeline of Ohio, the non-profit organ recovery agency for Central and Southeastern Ohio. Team Challenge: Get your company involved, or form a group to honor someone who gave the "Gift of Life!" Find out more by clicking here. SPECIAL Donor Remembrance Wall: Lifeline of Ohio is featuring a donor remembrance area to honor the heroes of donation. All families whose loved one was an organ or tissue donor are invited to create a poster (22 inches x 28 inches preferred) commemorating their loved ones Gift of Life to be displayed race day (weather permitting). Families are also encouraged to create additional posters to carry with them on race day. Families not attending can drop off posters at the Lifeline of Ohio offices by July 1 and we will display them for you. Proceeds from this event are used to further Lifeline of Ohio's educational programs for the communities in the 37 counties Lifeline of Ohio serves. Location: Nationwide Arena - 200 West Nationwide Blvd., Columbus, Ohio 43215 Awards: The top three males and females overall along with the three males and females in the respective categories. Race Divisions: Awards & results will be based on following categories: 19 and under, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 - 69, 70+ and Walkers (MUST walk the entire event) Entry Fees: Half: $40 until July 1st; $50 after July 1st and $30 for "I'm a Hero" (Heroes are registered organ donors) Packet Pickup: FrontRunner 1344 W. Lane Ave. 614-486-0301 at the following times: Friday 07/02 - Friday 07/09 Packet Pickup Hours are Monday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup: From 6:00 A.M. to 6:45 A.M. . NO ENTRY after 6:45 A.M. AMB Chip Pick-Up: AMB Chip pickup is on race day from 6:00 A.M. - 6:45 A.M. You must wear a chip in order to be timed and receive results after the event. *Lost or non-returned chips will result in a 0.00. 	Course Information: The start and finish is located on Nationwide Blvd. next to the Arena near Front Street. Participants head west to Neil Ave. Turn Right on Neil Ave to Vine Street. Left on Vine Street to Michigan Ave. Right on Michigan Ave to 1st Ave. Left on 1st Ave. to Perry Street. Right on Perry Street to 3rd Ave. Left on 3rd Ave to the Olentangy Bike Path. Left / South on the Olentangy Bike Path. Follow the bike path to Rickenbocher Road. Right on Rickenbocher Road to N. Souder Ave. Left on N. Souder Ave to the Bike Path and the Turn Around. Return North on the Bike Path to Spring Street. Right on Spring Street to Neil Ave and Lap number 2. If participants completed lap number, then the participant would turn right on Nationwide Blvd. off Neil Ave. to the Finish. Directions: To the Start / Finish - Nationwide Blvd. near Front Street: From the North: Take I-270 South to I-670 West into Downtown Columbus. Take exit 4B on the left for US-23 S/Third Street. Merge onto N 3rd St/US-23 S. Turn right at E Spring St/US-33 W. Turn right at Neil Ave to Nationwide Blvd. area parking.
