Mission and Goals

The Run Wild Mission:
Manage, time and promote running and multi-sport events at the highest level possible with continual growth, one-of-a-kind user experience and events that are respected throughout their communities. Promote health and fitness through running, walking and multi-sport events for the benefit of all; for fitness, fun, safety, and overall good health.

Run Wild Goals:

• Put on events at the highest level leaving participants, spectators, volunteers, and sponsors feeling very satisfied.
• Listen to the participants and take feedback to enhance future events.
• Bring on "World Class" sponsors and partners that add significant value to our participants and spectators.
• Promote running, walking and multi-sport events for fitness, fun safety, and overall good health.
• Give back to the running community by supporting the local clubs, organizations, and business.
• Have fun, put on quality events and always try to over-deliver!
• Participants expect more from themselves... So expect more from your race management company!

History

Run Wild Racing, Inc. was founded in February 2004 and is focused on promotion and management of "World Class" running and walking events.  Run Wild Racing will be focused on running/walking related events that are unique, fun, challenging, and exciting.  Distances of our events will range from 5K to 20 miles with everything in between.

Run Wild Racing, Inc. made a major investment in a world class chip timing system from AMB i.t, which times NASCAR, the Olympics, and other MAJOR running and active sporting events.  Also, Run Wild looks to certify most if not all our courses with the USATF. 

The President and Race Director for Run Wild Racing, Inc. is Doug Grout. Doug has been and is very passionate about running, the running community, and putting on quality events that everyone can enjoy. Run Wild Racing, Inc. will take advantage of technology from every aspect like our chip timing to a remarkable website and back end systems built by Savrus, LLC.

2004 saw growth and learning for Run Wild Racing, Inc.  The average participant level went up exponentially as the season progressed and we took the feedback we received and implemented many of those ideas into our process.  Some events did not go as well as expected, but some went much better than expected, so we live and learn as we go.

Run Wild Racing, Inc. looks forward to an amazing 2005 race season and we hope all participants, spectators, volunteers, and sponsors really enjoy our events.
